A brief history
Acucare (Pty) Ltd, a Level 1 B-BEEE enterprise, located in Pretoria East, was born out of a need in the medical market for professional third party technical service support at reasonable prices.
We pride ourselves in the fact that we play an active role in South Africa’s drive to create employment and achieve economic equality and inclusivity.
Our Dynamic team consists of Highly Qualified, Certified and Experienced Staff. The Acucare Team consists of Clinical & Electronic Engineers, Clinical Field Technicians and Mechanical / Hydraulic Specialists. Our Collective Technical Experience and Knowledge enables us to offer Cost Effective Solutions and Technical Support to Clinical Engineers and Healthcare Service Providers throughout the various Healthcare Markets
What we do
Our core expertise is in the service and repairs of various electromedical devices, Electronic Board Repairs, and Hydraulic/Electric Theatre Tables and Theatre Lights. This also includes the customization and refurbishment of theatre related accessories e.g. Lithotomy poles, Surgical Arm Boards, Body Positioning Accessories and Various Clamps.
As an independent, unbiased third-party service provider, Acucare is able to add value to both End User and Principal Equipment Supplier (Agent) by providing After Sales Service Support and Cost Saving Strategies to all parties involved.
Acucare offers a variety of Service options including Service Level Agreements to ensure Healthcare Equipment maintain optimal performance throughout its life cycle
Our Technical Centre
Acucare’s spacious light industrial 414 Square Meter Technical Centre consists of separated Clinical and Mechanical work areas and is fully equipped with state of the art Testing Equipment enabling our technicians to complete all work timeously, professionally and accurately.

SANAS certified calibration certificates for all testing instruments used to perform equipment services are provided.
OEM Checklists
OEM Checklists and Service Certificates with ISO Standard Electrical Safety Certificate are provided for each Medical Device Serviced/Repaired
Record Keeping and Service History File
All Service Certificates, Job Cards and Relevant Audit and Compliance Related documents are kept on record and can be accessed at any time for your convenience. Our state-of-the-art Record Keeping software allows for documents to archived for an unlimited period.
